Staking
NAVO staking is how we let holders put skin in the game on BNB Smart Chain: you deposit NAVO into the live pool, rewards accrue per the rules baked into that deployment, and you claim or exit when the contract allows. It sits next to cashback and buyback/burn—different lever, same idea of tying the token to people who actually use NavoSwap.
Anything that changes week to week—APR, lock length, caps, contract address—is in app.navoswap.com and our release notes. This page is the walkthrough; the UI + BscScan are truth.
What you’re signing up for
We want this to feel boring in a good way: connect wallet, stake once, see rewards tick up, claim when you want, unstake when the lock says you can. Rules are enforced by code; we don’t hand-wave balances in a spreadsheet.
Typical flow
- Open the app, connect a wallet that holds NAVO.
- Approve the staking contract when MetaMask (or your wallet) asks.
- Deposit into the active pool—amount + any tier/lock is stored on-chain.
- Rewards pile up based on the schedule that pool is running.
- Claim when the UI allows; watch for claim fees if we turned any on.
- Unstake principal after lock/cooldown; NAVO lands back in your wallet.
Where rewards come from
Depends on the phase, but usually a mix of:
- Emissions from the slice of supply earmarked for community/incentives
- Protocol revenue routed to stakers when we’ve announced that channel
- Short campaigns (multipliers, partner boosts) we run from time to time
Math runs in the contract; your dashboard and the explorer show the same numbers—we don’t maintain a shadow ledger for rewards.
Things that differ per pool
- Min/max stake and hard caps
- Lock vs flexible, cooldown after exit, early-exit penalty if any
- APR schedule (and whether it steps down over time)
- Whether rewards pay in NAVO or something else
- Which contract version is live (always verify on BscScan)
How this fits NAVO overall
Staking isn’t a replacement for LP. It’s another way to participate while we still push liquidity and swap volume through the rest of the system. The point is to keep NAVO hooked to activity, not detached chart art.
